creating the visual feast in méjico
With its zesty menu and sheer joie de vivre, méjico’s interior needed to be just as invigorating. In collaboration with design firm Juicy Design, we sourced and provided the furniture, lighting and cushions, much of which we had custom-made and coloured in order to achieve just the right amount of visual ‘spice’.
Neon-pink chairs, black stools and mono-striped textiles complement the bold graphics on the walls and floors, while concrete breeze blocks, shiny metal plates and soothing wood finishes ground the lively space. To accentuate méjico’s underlying moody, warehouse feel, basket-woven black lampshades were selected that also serve as focal points over the communal tables.
Eclectic yet considered, this eye-catching interior is a feast for the eyes. Enjoy!
